Amphi Clothing Bank helps Amphitheater students and families in need

Amphi Clothing Bank helps our kids!

The Amphi Clothing Bank was founded by teachers to lend dignity to families in need by providing quality used clothing and household items in a clean, caring environment. Our all-volunteer staff collects and sorts more then 40,000 articles of clothing each year, with each and every item laundered on site. As a result, thousands of Amphitheater students have left the Clothing Bank ready to go to school, dressed for success!

Who's eligible? Amphitheater students K - 12 and their parents, siblings and other family members living in the home, including grandparents, who are qualified and referred by their schools' health services department.

How are clothing and other items distributed?

Each student and family member may select up to five outfits: girls and women - dresses, suits, and separates (blouses, skirts, pants); boys and men - suits, jackets, shirts and pants. They can also add pajamas, nightgowns, bathrobes, coats, shoes and accessories. Each student is provided with new socks and underwear.

Household items we carry may include: towels, sheets, and blankets; dinnerware, glassware and flatware; cookware, kitchen supplies and appliances; household appliances; baby equipment and toys.

What does the Clothing Bank need?

Clothing: boys and girls, all ages, especially sizes 4 - 16. We also accept infantwear and clothing for men and women age 65+. New boys' and girls' socks and underwear are in constant demand throughout the year but especially in November and March.
We also appreciate donations of small household items and bed and bath linens, and are in special need of blankets.

Money: your contribution supports our operations and buys brand new boys' and girls' socks and underwear, all ages, and other personal items, such as toiletries.

Volunteers: help take in, sort, and launder clothing donations, keep the hanging racks and shelves organized, and assist students and their families. And we also appreciate help with grounds keeping, building maintenance, and odd jobs!
